This period covers the first two decades of ENJJPT graduates, they all trained on the T37B and T38A out of Sheppard AFB, Wichita Falls Texas.

As of 1981 the MDAP pilot training was replaced by the Euro NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training (ENJJPT) centralized on a single base, Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas. The Belgian Air Force’s approach on pilot training did not change, most Belgian student pilots received their training in Belgium on the SF260 and the then new Alpha Jet. Almost every year Belgium sent 02 to 04 student pilots to a single ENJJPT Class starting in 1983. The centralization had a benefit, it allowed Belgians to mix with student pilots of many NATO countries, some of which sent all their fast jet track students to ENJJPT (ex Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Norway). So, ties amongst NATO pilots where being forged already in pilot training. In that period pilot training is provided on Cessna T37 (+/- 100hrs)and Northrop T38A (+/- 100hrs).
In 2004 Belgium stopped the agreement for a total of 47 Silver Wings graduates
